Tsubasa Koshide – Printed Picture Frame

Picture frames are objects that have been developed for a long time to display pictures. As a designer and illustrator, I have designed a unique system that can be quickly produced and customised.

A picture frame is a simple object, but it still combines many materials, costs a lot of money to produce and does not offer a choice of colours or patterns. However, when manufactured with a 3D printer, you can easily produce colours, patterns and shapes that suit illustrations and moods. It also makes it possible to create elongated shapes and circular picture frames that would have had to be custom-made in the past.
